This policy explains which cookies HTO & Beyond ApS uses on htolabs.com, in the HTO Labs web app and on our demo booking page, what each one does, and how you choose which ones we may use. It goes with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data in general.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work, such as the one that keeps you signed in. Others, such as analytics cookies, are optional, and we only set them if you agree.
How you choose
The first time you visit, we ask whether we may use analytics cookies. Accept all and Reject all are just as easy to press, and nothing optional runs until you have chosen. Choose cookies lets you decide one category at a time.
We keep your choice for 12 months and then ask again. You can change it at any time under Cookie settings at the foot of every page, or here. If you withdraw your consent, Google Analytics stops straight away and we delete its cookies from your browser.
The cookies we use
Necessary
These keep the site working and secure. The law allows them without your consent, so they cannot be switched off.

Analytics
Only with your consent. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read, so we can improve the website. It runs on our homepage and demo booking page, never once you are signed in to the app.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
Visitor ID_ga | Stores a random ID so Google Analytics can count visitors and tell a new visitor from a returning one. | 2 years | |
Current visit_ga_6G4JBEN7LB | Remembers your current visit, such as when it started and how many pages you've seen. | 2 years |
We use no advertising or marketing cookies.
What Google receives
When you allow analytics, your browser sends Google the page you visit, the page you came from, your browser and device details, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses for visitors in the EU.
- We have turned off Google signals and sharing data with Google for advertising.
- Google keeps the data for 2 months, then deletes it.
- Google may process the data in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- We rely on your consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Read more in Google's Privacy Policy.
Other storage in your browser
The web app also keeps a copy of the workspace files you open in your browser, so they show at once on your next visit, and remembers interface choices. This stays on your device, is needed for the app to work as you expect, and is wiped when you sign out.
The desktop app
The HTO Labs desktop app uses no analytics cookies and does not use Google Analytics.
Blocking cookies in your browser
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser's settings. If you block the necessary cookies, you cannot sign in to the web app.
Changes
When we add or change cookies, we update this page and its date, and ask for your consent again when a change needs it.
