Pick the AI and give a chat Full access
Each chat runs on one of the AIs you connected. You pick the AI, the model and how hard it thinks, right in the message box.
Pick the AI and model
The button by the microphone shows the model the chat uses. Press it to open the menu.
- Agent lists every AI you connected. Point at one to see its models, and click the model you want.
- Effort sets how long the AI thinks before it answers. Low is quick, and High suits harder work.
- Speed picks Standard or Fast, where your AI offers Fast.
To connect another AI, open Settings › Agents. Read more in Connect your AI.
Full access
The shield button in the message box turns on Full access for one chat. With Full access, the AI can run commands and change files anywhere on your Mac without asking you first. Changes to your Brain still wait for your approval.
HTO Labs asks Give this chat Full access?
Press Turn on Full access. The button now says Full access. Press it again to turn it off.
Use Full access for work outside your workspace, such as tidying a folder on your Mac. Workroom chats always run without it, because everyone in the room adds to them.
Write while HTO works
You can type while HTO answers. Claude and ChatGPT take your words into the work at once. Gemini and Grok keep them, and the box says Sends when this answer is done. Enter sends your words and lets the work go on. To stop the answer, press Stop.
